Sequoia National Park -One of the world’s largest trees-

Giant Sequoia Tree

Have you seen the forest filled with HUGE TREES like in this picture?

This past weekend, I went to Sequoia National Park. Yes, I do, I love nature!

I can drive hours every weekend to be in the beautiful places. I love the clean air and energy there. I love feeling and witnessing how powerful these places are. I go to this national parks often, but I have not been to Sequoia National Park for a few years.

No matter how many times I see this forest of giant sequoia trees…. it is AMAZING!

So powerful, so beautiful, so energizing, so BIG, so inspiring!

Here is little about this park…

Sequoia National Park is located east of Fresno, California. The park is famous for its giant sequoia trees, including the General Sherman tree, one of the largest trees on Earth. Also the park is home to over 240 known caves that include California’s longest cave at over 20 miles (32 km), Lilburn Cave, and potentially hundreds more.

There are easy hiking trails so you can take your little children with you, or grandparents can go there too.

There are several ways to get there, but I recommend going from Fresno taking high way 180 toward east. This freeway takes straight to Sequoia National Park. I took smaller road coming through Visalia(I came from Los Angeles)  and the road was very hard to drive since road was very curvy for loooooong time. So it may look shorter in the map, but it takes long time to drive through extremely curvy road. Freeway 180 from Fresno was much easier to drive for sure.

There are two sides of this park. So I recommend to check the park map from the website(http://www.nps.gov/seki/planyourvisit/maps.htm) ahead of time so you know what to plan. Summer time is probably better time to visit as winter it could get snowy. Also, there many bears in the area, so you need to be very careful not to leave food in your car, other wise, bear could break into your car. (You see these sign everywhere!)

If you have children with you, don’t forget to pick up “Junior Ranger” book from the visitor center. Your child can fill out the book and bring it by visitor center is closed, so they can get free ranger badge! Every national parks have this,  it is fun activity for children.

You MUST see the amazing GIANT Sequoia Trees at least once in your life time. It is truly amazing and you will feel like you are in the fantasy world. Trees are so big it does not look real. I LOVE being in such a wonderful forest. Highly recommended if you are tired and stressed. Must visit if you love and enjoys nature!!

First post! Myself and the blogs!

Sunrise with a tree
Bryce Canyon National Park, Sunrise, beautiful colored sky and a tree. Quiet moment of beauty of the nature

My first official post on my Artist blog!

I will be writing about myself, nature, spirituality, growth, wisdom that will help anyone, art works, creativity, energy that run inside of us and the whole universe….etc.(too much? 😉

Just a little about myself…

I am a fine artist/ pyrographer/ painter/ photographer/ spiritual, intuitive healer/ energy healer/ a mother of a son( 9years old!). I meditate almost everyday for self cleansing and to live happier meaningful life. I go to the total nature area (National parks+) often to be myself, to feel true joy of my life, to gain wisdom of life, to love, to grow, to raise my spirit.  I grow so much spiritually in the past a few years. After going through major life hardship, it opened my heart and eyes toward inside of myself. I realized that everything is inside of myself. and going to the nature always helped me to deeply connect of myself and it is so important to be connected and grounded at all the time. I am very much Earthy person, kind, never get angry, never look at anyone bad way, believing everyone, every life is equal, spiritually awakened strongly.

I have a cat named “Kitty”(very scary cat, people call her she is mean, but she is not! She just has scary personality.;)), and a gold fish named “Fishy”(very friendly! you can pet him).  I am Japanese, born and raised there, I have been in the U.S. for just about 15 years. Currently living in Los Angeles. So my English may sound funny and I still make lots of mistakes writing in English, please forgive me.  I enjoy multiple cultural experience and the beauty of the differences. I love eating great food, I love being outside.

And I…. well, too much about myself.lol

Anyway,

I had a few different blogs to blog about targeted audience, so I had one blog for my spirituality, CORE -Enlightenment store, and I had another blog for my personal views and life…. in Japanese(I am Japanese) and English both and it was getting TOO MUCH! My life is not for spending all day everyday in front of computer!!(I was screaming inside of myself.lol) I am pretty sure there are so many people experiencing the same thing. For your personal use, business use, hobby use… whatever that was, people have multiple account at multiple social medias and blogs.  And I cannot believe that there are sooooooooooooooo many of them today! I am very much a nature minded person, I am not made for computers… My spirit is not happy when I spend all day in front of laptop. I know some people are amazing at it, that is great! but Not me…

So! I just combine all my blogs and twitter account into one, as myself,  have one account. It is self-expression of myself, my art and the wisdom to help others. Someone told me it is the best to have targeted audience for each account, but I realized it was not working for me. So I follow my intuition to combine all. Following intuition is always the best for self. Your intuition could be the message from your guide, message from your god, message from higher self… however you call it. There is always something inside of ourselves that send the strongest messages for the best in our lives.

If you love art and creativity, follow me! If you love photography, follow me! If you love nature, follow me! If you love spirituality and self discovery, follow me! 🙂

Everyday is the celebration of life, life this moment to the fullest and the best will follow in the future. Do not caught up thinking too much of fear toward unknown future or plan too much for the future. The most important thing is TODAY, NOW, that will lead to your brighter future. If you are not living your life happy today, that will lead to your future. Be happy and live life to the fullest everyday!
